Invitation
The public is invited to Buu Mon Temple’s 2006 celebration of Le Vu Lan, also known as Mother’s Day or Ullambana.
On this day, Buddhists offer prayers both to their departed relatives and to their living parents and elders, with special attention given to mothers.
It is generally believed that one who performs a good deed accumulates spiritual merit. It is considered an even more pious act when the merit earned is shared with departed relatives, which will help them to be reborn in good realms and to alleviate their suffering.
Our Temple’s celebration will be held on Sunday, August 13, 2006 at 10:30 AM. The schedule will be as follows:

12:30 pm Vegetarian Lunch Offered to All
