Please join Buu Mon Buddhist Temple for our 2007 Lunar New Year Celebration. We will usher in the “Year of the Boar” at 11:45pm Saturday, February 17, 2007. The temple is located at 2701 Procter Street, in Port Arthur, Texas. There will be a countdown to the New Year just before midnight. The Yellow Lion and Dragon dance troupe will perform. It is their 10th year anniversary. The midnight celebration will consist of cultural folk dances, 12 Zodiacs presentation, speeches by honored city officials and the venerable monks. The celebration will close with individual blessings from the venerable monks.
