Buu Mon Temple would like to invite all persons interested in meditation to join the temple staff of monks and lay people in the practice of Mindfulness – Insight (Vipassana) Meditation. Class meets every Wednesday 7:00PM through 8:30PM, following the meditation class a short social and tea gathering.
Classes on Mindfulness – Insight Meditation are ongoing; beginners can join us any Wednesday evening. The meditation class is open to all who are interested. Vipassana meditation concentrates on the person’s breath. Experience is not necessary to enjoy the benefits of meditation. The class consists of sitting and walking meditation and a talk concerning the meditation and the goal of the Vipassana meditation process.
Please wear comfortable clothing. If you have a meditation cushion and/or mat you may bring them. Classes are supervised and taught by Bhante Kassapa, an American Buddhist monk.
